Virgin Coconut Oil Production
In 2017, MIDA–MAJAONI Conservation Self Help Group expanded its activities into virgin coconut oil production as a sustainable income-generating project.
Our coconut oil is produced using carefully selected coconuts sourced from local farmers. The oil is processed through traditional methods that preserve its natural quality and nutritional benefits.
We currently produce a minimum of 40 litres of virgin coconut oil weekly through manual processing methods.
- 100% Pure Virgin Coconut Oil
- No Additives or Chemicals
- Naturally Processed
- Long Shelf Life
- Locally Produced
- Supports Community Livelihoods
100% Virgin Oil
Virgin coconut oil, the original way.
Cold, manual extraction. Nothing added, nothing taken away. Our oil keeps its sweet coconut aroma and stays fresh for up to three years.
Uses of Virgin Coconut Oil
From coconut to bottle, by hand.
Every litre is made manually — slow, careful, and honest. We produce a minimum of 40 litres per week.
Source
We work directly with local coconut farmers around Kilifi, hand-picking mature nuts.
Grate
The white flesh is grated using traditional methods passed down generations.
Press
Using hands or the kifumbu and clean buckets, we press and filter the milk by hand, in stages..
Sun-rest
The milk rests under the Kilifi sun until the oil naturally separates.
Bottle
We hand-bottle in multiple sizes with strict quality control checks.
